Yes, everyone has the possibility of getting a mortgage in Dubai. However, the mortgage limit and rates may be more restrictive for non-residents compared to residents.
-How much of a deposit should I have for a mortgage?+-
Expat residents (1st-time buyer): 20%
UAE nationals (1st-time buyer): 15%
Expat residents (2nd-time buyer): 40%
UAE nationals (2nd-time buyer): 35%
While these are the standard deposit amounts, some banks may allow second-time buyers to put down a lesser amount based on specific criteria.
